To clarify, if they would have allowed the suspect to regain entry into the vehicle, many times a fleeing suspect if able, will ditch the ‘hot’ vehicle and get into another one. This is not complex.
Yeah, sort of like "get on the ground now!" after the shots are fired.
What was he suspected of doing?
He was still on the ground after the taser shot.
You call him "suspect". Suspected of doing what? The police were responding to a stalled car in the middle of the road. So is car breakdown a criminal offense now?
Personally, I don’t see how Hillary benefits from any of these cases, no matter the circumstances. If there’s a clear case of murder, as was the case in South Carolina, there’s really no controversy about it, it becomes a nonissue. But in the vast majority of the rest of cases, it looks like the “victim” brought it upon themselves in some way. If the election comes down to who is with the cops versus who is with the miscreants of varying degrees of culpability who end up getting shot by the cops, Hillary does not win that.
How many people have you shot?
Why is that a crime?
Again, it’s already been mentioned the suspect was about 1 or so from cover, a vehicle, and a weapon or possibly multiple weapons. It’s why they could not allow him to reenter that vehicle. He could have fled, blew a red, killed a family, took hostages and or hijacked another vehicle in an attempt to get away.
Yeah....the chopper pilot did that on purpose.....
Are you serious?
Come back when you develop a brain.
“Why treat him as a violent suspect when there was no reason to do so? “
How do you know that? Maybe the vehicle stalled because he hot-wired it poorly. Maybe he mouthed off to the cop. Maybe he wouldn’t produce ID. Maybe he kept putting his hands in his pockets or into his waistband. Maybe he fit a description. Maybe he just wouldn’t stand still, like he was nervous or guilty.
“Yeah, sort of like “get on the ground now!” after the shots are fired. “
Seriously, what part of “Put your hands up and don’t f*cking move!” is hard to understand?
“Why is that a crime? “
Try it and get back to us...
The video shows they shot him while laying on the ground after they tazed him. If that is your sport, more power to ya.
Did they actually tase him?
Didn’t you watch the video?
“Didnt you watch the video?”
I saw the one where my view of the guy was blocked by cops. I saw him fall down. Then I heard a cop say “shots fired.”
Now I know from the link I posted above, that a taser was deployed and one shot was fired. There’s a lot unsaid.
A lot of what the chief said was hard to understand; I’ll wait until I see it written down in plain English.
