According to the collaborative work of researchers for Advertising Age, Hillary Clinton is spending over $145 million on TV and Radio Ads. Donald Trump’s total is a little over 4 million. Team Clinton is burning 36 times more money than Team Trump.
(Via AdAge) To put all this another way, of the $149,912,723 millon in booked TV and radio spending through election day for these three presidential candidates, $145,299,727 is being spent by the Clinton campaign combined with pro-Clinton PACs. (link)
(LINK) Another reason for the media to hate Trump. He’s not filling their bank accounts.
VT is red
Yeah, hILLary, we need another Solyndra. Keep running that commercial and remind everyone of the the California-based solar company that went bankrupt after receiving $535 million in federal loan guarantees from the Obama Administration.
Sounds like a definition of hell.
So where is he spending his money then?
She is so out of touch she is depending on the ‘War on Women’ to get elected - burning bras, ‘Iron my shirt’, ‘All sexually assaulted women should be believed ‘, Republicans are finally interested in women’s health because I have pneumonia ...
I am surprised she doesn’t have Helen Reddy’s song as her theme song, ‘I am Woman’.
I can just see her underlings brainstorming her talking points outside of the ‘War on Women’- “I got nothin’...”
NY will never turn red.
They voted for Kerry!

I agree, Pravious. I live in a South Texas city that is heavily populated by Hispanics.
I have not seen any Trump ads.
When I ask people if they're voting for Donald, they look at me like I'm crazy and start running him down. It does no good to try to convince them not to vote Hillary.
He definitely needs to run ads in this area!
If you’re asking how I would finance a campaign, then I’d have some set aside for a push after each debate, for a final push starting mid-October.
I’d spend a lot on the rallies and on the alternative social connectivity media.
In fact, there was a report here on FR a few weeks back of a Trump major investment in social media. I don’t know if I can find it. Trump as a keyword will bring up too many articles. “invests” maybe. “social media” maybe. I’ll see if I can find it.
AZll the corrupt criminal is doing is money laundering back to her media co-conspirators. RICO laws surely apply.
All the corrupt criminal is doing is money laundering back to her media co-conspirators. RICO laws surely apply.
All she’s doing is pissing off people who know her for what she is and making those who have qualms about her think she’s desperate.
Her brain trust should know by now she’s the political equivalent of a Yugo. Except it her case she’s the latest version called the Nogo.
Because of 'Early Voting', that is why! While mail-in votes from military and expats is only lightly, if any, influenced by advertising, local mail-in votes have already started in many areas. It is quite possible that an NC voter (Sept.9th) could have voted for Hillary and then regretted it after the 09/11 fiasco.
There are going to be early, in-person voting, for 3 states, Minnesota, South Carolina and Michigan, BEFORE the 1st Hillary_v_Trump debate on Monday 09/26. By the time of the 3rd debate on 10/19, it appears POSSIBLE that close to 1/3 of all votes will already have been cast!
This is my prime objection to such a broad time frame for 'early voting', it is lazy and benefits the establishment and known-name candidates. It fails to provide, an impossibility, for withdrawal of a vote based upon newer information. My personal choice would be for Federal Office voting to be limited to a 3-week time prior to the official day, but that does violate FEDERALISM so I have to take the bad with the good!
I just found an ad for Hillary on my Pinterest feed. I don’t think it’s possible to delete or hide anything on a Pinterest feed either.
I am more than annoyed.
Is she even with Jeb now?
Bwhahahaha.
I couldn’t agree more. They ARE very effective... I truly believe that Trump would be way ahead if he blanketed the airwaves with attacks on Hillary AND positive ads about him and his policies... It should not be this close... Too much at stake
I wouldn’t put NM in the red column... All we saw is a pre-911 poll, over 8 days or so, of 143 likely voters... Not even 20 a day.. Way too small a sample size
He’s ahead here in Ohio, and I have my ballot. He’s ahead in Florida and they are getting their ballots.
I’m voting Trump, and so would be a majority of early Ohio voters, since he’s ahead at this point.
And she is not spending it well.
Case in point, a radio ad running here in Pennsylvania every fifteen minutes.
In it a young mom with a sick child gives thanks for the CHiP program and sings Hillary’s praises for “working with Republicans” to create it.
(granted that was a CYA move to save her healthcare credentials after she totally effed-up in ‘93....but I digress)
This ad is running four to five times an hour on an ALL SPORTS station. The target audience for the ad is clearly Julias and Soccer Moms.
The audience for these radio stations skews male, 18-54.
Not to mention the ads use the words “Hillary” and “health” back to back five or six times. Astoundingly stupid.
Afrer listinening to Rush, her view changed... She had NO access to the Internet, so the MSM and ads were all she heard.. There's tons of people out there who either have no access to alt media or are easily swayed
For all of the talk about how Hillary's ads aren't working... What's the drawback to blanketing the airwaves with ads? Even if just to counter her lies... Or improve his approval ratings... The stakes are too important to leave anything to chance.. He has the money.. There's NO good reason to not spend BIG
Can anyone confirm that the Clintoons are paying for this upfront or are they grifting again?
