Let’s hear a detailed report on all of the violent anti-Muslim backlash after the 9-11 attacks, after the Spanish train attacks, after the Orlando attacks, after the San Bernardino attacks, after the London Underground attacks, after the Paris attacks, and after the other 28,000 plus Islamic terrorist attacks since 9-11.
Well, there was . . . um, no, that was Muslims . . . and there was . . . nope, Islam again . . . Pretty much the only anti-Muslim violence is by Islamic terrorists.
That’s it. Can we stop pretending that decent Christians are going to get violent. We need to start looking for the problem elsewhere. Unfortunately, journalists at least pretend to have no idea where to look for the real problem.
You’ve inspired me, if there is a public meeting/forum here pushing the “fear of backlash against Muslims” (we live near St. Cloud in a yet another small city with a high Muslim population)I will attend and ask for your detailed report.
We see special privileges granted to them quite often and it’s incredibly frustrating.
Aside from a very few and very isolated incidents, there has been little backlash against Muslims, and most of that internet venting, not physical attacks.
The American people generally don’t mob up and attack people anymore. Unless you are a conservative trying to voice your opinion on a college campus.
