I am wondering what the similarity is.
We know that the one in NJ was a pipe bomb.
I also heard that the bomb experts were very interested in the type of wiring used, as that often leaves a signature of the bomb maker.
Perhaps the pipe bomb report was wrong. Who knows. We’ll just have to wait.
The only similarity I’ve heard is cellphone trigger, perhaps same model or one of a group of models known to be particularly efficacious for this purpose.
