But..... it was by signing a vow or oath of the signee. So if they don’t honor their signature then
their word or oath isn’t of any value and should be pointed out when they run again.

Actually, it was a legally binding CONTRACT.

The GOP does this every cycle. To receive support from the party (such as mailing lists) they must sign a statement they will support the candidate.

Prebius kept referring to it as a “data contact” in the radio interview I heard him give. It is legally binding, and the GOP does have legal recourse against those candidates that don’t keep their end of the contract.
