Yes, indeed, its a revolutionary situation. Its peaceful and democratic, to be sure, but, nonetheless, its a revolution. Embracing this thrilling new spiritof the sort never seen, for example, during the McCain or Romney campaignsTrump opened his speech by nodding to the audience and quipping, Welcome, all of you deplorables.
And while it might be a cliche to write, the crowd went wild, thats exactly what happened. Without a doubt, Trumps use of deplorables as a play on the musical Les Misérablesthe source of the lyrics above and belowis a first in US politics.
A few other portals covered the deplorables angle. The Drudge Report played it big: Miami Trump frenzy. And heres how Mediaite put it: Les Deplorables: Trump Took the Stage in Miami in the Most Over-the-Top Way Possible. And Business Insider: Trump walks onstage to theme of Les Miserables, greets deplorables at his Miami rally. Fox News was on it, too. As reporter Garrett Tenney said on Saturday morning, The deplorable label has become a badge of honor for Trump supporters.
Yet for the most part, the Main Stream Media studiously ignored the Miami event and all its heavy symbolism. Instead, the MSM had its own agenda, which we can sum up in two words: Destroy Trump.
To that end, The New York Times used the word lie twice on its front page. One news story was headlined, Trump Clung to Birther Lie for Years, and Still Isnt Apologetic. And an accompanying editorial was headlined, Donald Trumps Latest Birther Lie.
For its part, The Washington Post was only marginally more fair and balanced; the word lie did not appear on its front page. Instead, the key word was false, as in, Trump admits Obama was born in US, falsely blames Clinton for rumors.

Deplorable me, Deplorable me........
A peaceful revolution in our own country against a foreign entity or entities who control these despicable politicians and a media that supports it
TTTT!
Go, Trump!!
We’ve already been called everything, McCain called us hobbits, Flimsey Grahamnesty called us bigots, Perry said we were heartless. We’ve been called birthers for wanting the Constitution upheld, nativists for wanting the immigration laws enforced, crazies for wanting the government to stop spending more than they take in.
Les Deplorables
Welcome all, to the new Deplorable Party! Those who are not deplorable can leave now. Trump has brilliantly turned this insult back on Hillary.

Do you hear the people’s ing? Singing the song of angry men. It is the song of men who will NOT be slaves again...
Went on Amazon and there is all kinds of deplorables stuff for sale. LOL
I’m all for Trump winning but thinking this is going to turn around America is mere wishful thinking.
Congress has to be replaced. The SC has to be replaced. Several amendments to the constitution have to be removed.
Not going to happen. Between the leeches and those who work for government in one form or fashion the demographics are permanently against the producers. We are already far past the tipping point and it is getting worse every year.
You want change? You are going to have to kill people for it. Otherwise - they are going to kill you.
I look at it this way.
The country is accelerating at high speed towards a brick wall.
Trump can hit the brakes and stop the car.
Turning it around is a challenge for the future, but it is not an option if we don’t slam on the brakes ASAP.
This campaign really reminds me of “Give ‘em hell Harry” Truman’s 1948 candidacy of 1948. Except this time Hillary is Thomas Dewey.
Breitbart should know better than to publish revisionism.
Les Miserables is a wonderful romantic piece of fiction, but it is fiction.
Hugo was celebrating radical socialists, heirs to the Jacobins. By the time of 1832, France had a legitimate constitutional monarchy.
The same left-wing agitators would be responsible for the revolutions of 1848, and ultimately the Paris Commune, an embryonic proto-communist government.
Let’s not get carried away.
I’ve been saying for months that Trump is an old-fashioned Dem in the style of Give-’em-hell Harry.
It makes the “Trump-is-a-loose-cannon crowd stop and consider. The more liberal ones counter that Truman dropped an A-bomb.
You left out "Bitter Clingers"
