That could end up being 6lbs of trimmed bud per person. An impossible amount for any one person to consume. Or even 10.

You hit on the underlying reason why the genie isn’t going back into the bottle: the states that legalized with I think the exception of WA allow adults to cultivate. In AK it’s up to 24 plants. People aren’t going to just toss what they don’t use in the trash and some folks who don’t even use the stuff are going to try their hands at cultivation.
