If Cruz cared, I imagine there is something he could do to get more conservatives to the polls.

Isn’t there a prominent US Senator from Texas, one who ran for president and was #2 in the GOP race?

Didn’t that Senator give his word that he would support the nominee and then, so far, not get around to showing that support?

Couldn’t Cruz do something about that and work on motivating that candidate’s supporters and former supporters to vote?

A whole lot of Trump supporters are done with that former candidate, but those who still many conservatives waiting to hear from that candidate. I would very much like to see Cruz do something big between now and the election.

Note: Trump was exceptionally rude about Heidi Cruz (no point in arguing whether that was provoked, it would have permanently offended me if that had been done to my wife), and attacks on a wife can be hard to forgive. However, we’re talking about the survival of America as a free country. We’re talking about avoiding either tyranny or a second civil war. It’s time for Cruz to suck it up and do the right thing, regardless of his personal feelings toward Trump.

Senator Ted Cruz warned patriots gathered for a Constitution Day gathering that Democrats could have “massive wins” in the large urban counties in Texas “if one, two, or three percent stay home.”

It isn't clear. Does he consider that a good thing or a bad thing?

When speaking of the race for president, he noted that three of the justices on the U.S. Supreme Court are quite advanced in years and the next president will have the opportunity to select the justices to replace them. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is 83-years-old, Justice Anthony Kennedy is 80, and Justice Stephen Breyer is 78-years-old.

But he still doesn't call for folks to vote for Trump, so he must be good with Hillary appointing their replacements.
