Some of us are old enough to remember when VT was rock-ribbed Republican. Staunch New England conservatives. Long, long ago! Transient Masserchussetts types changed all that. But, the pendulum swings.
I thought VT was over-run by Bernies from NYC while NH succumbed to Massholes....
Look at California, you take away San Francisco and Los Angeles County and you pretty much have a Conservative state
