Hundreds of thousands of Germans took to the streets Saturday, in protest of pending trade deals with the United States and Canada.
The deals in question are the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the U.S. and the European Union and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) for the Canadian-EU relationship. Neither free trade agreement has been ratified yet, but popular outcry has been growing for the last few years.
The demonstrations took place in seven cities throughout Germany: Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart. Organizers told CNBC that the official estimate is 320,000 demonstrators across Germany.
In Berlin, where discussions of trade policy are frequently overheard in cafes and most available surfaces are plastered in posters and stickers against the deals, the largest demonstration of the day took place with about 70,000 attendees, according to the organizers.

Wonder what Kasich has to say about this?
What we should be worrying about is with the growth of this movement what happens if Hillary wins?
I can see that

Let me assuage your fears.
There is a 98% probability that Trump wins. This election is essentially over but the majority don’t get it yet.
Play to win. you will be a lot happier.
I don’t know much about these agreements.
What I would like to know is to whom does it give power to make excessive profits off of international trade ?
We should be exercising our First Ammendment right to assemble in protest.
If not now, then when?...
Eff the corrupt elite NWO PTB.
RE: “It seems the basket of deplorables is expanding to include millions of people in Germany. The adorable deplorables are rising all over the world. As Trump says this is a movement. Many have not seen this coming, but this election is essentially over and Trump wins with a 98% probability of success.”

Basically it goes to the monster corporations who have trillions to play with. This is the .1% who are taking most of the wealth for themselves. I can see how seductive that is.
People are realizing globalism as very real and a very real threat to their livelihoods and independence.
To prove this we only needed to look at what happened very recently regarding the EU and UK.
Unless you smoke crack in addition to being not familiar with European politics.
Hey Obama, all protest is good, right?
Seriously!
TPP is poison for everyone. I suspect that a lot of these Germans are ordinary people like here.
Clinton is no where near being close to Trump. Media is fabricating the interpretation of the polls!

When Obama was elected he went to Berlin and had a crowd of 300,000. He went back to Berlin a few years later and the crowd was 3,000.
Wonder what would happen today if he went back to Berlin? He would probably have a protest of 300,000.
TTIP
That would be something to see!
Maybe he'd have a big crowd of Muslims show up to cheer him, though. His people, imported by Merkel.
TTIP is not free trade. It’s corporate welfare masquerading as such.
A real free trade agreement would be pretty easy to read through, since its about reducing tariffs and market barriers.
Once again, the Left wing has successfully poisoned public opinion against free enterprise by equating cronyism with Capitalism, and that socialism needs to be enforced to save them.
After all, hundreds of thousands of Germans can't be wrong.
I don’t “suspect” that you are incorrect. I know it. You are attributing right-wing motives to a bunch of smelly commies. Wake up.
Bad for them too. Wonder who it’s good for.
