It’s probably true. Irving was astonished by Fred’s ability to handle the melody for “Cheek to Cheek,” and that story will be coming up tonight. Score one for Mom.
I love “Cheek to Cheek”. I learned it from the Frank Sinatra LP “Let’s Dance” which my Mom used to play on my Dad’s HUMONGOUS Stereo. (Altec-Lansing Voice of the Theater Speakers...each one the size of an average washing machine)
