Their football team in Houston is ranked now. I wonder if that has anything to do with the increase in crime near campus?
A neighbor of mine was car jacked in broad daylight in a parking lot of Cougar High (U of H) back in the late 1970’s. Another guys mom, a flaming liberal, almost was killed in broad daylight when her car quit a few blocks from there. They came out and started smashing her windows and were in the process of dragging her out when old lady came out of one house and called them off.
