Defense contractor Raytheon was paid by Saudi Arabia to build walls between it and Iraq and around Yemen. Couple hundred million dollars for multiple lines of ditches, barbed wire fences and barricades. Between the two fences, it was about as long as the Mexican border fence we need. And no massive masonry required.

To top it off, Raytheon was tasked to create a visa entry/exit system that quickly reported when someone overstayed a visa and notify authorities - for the UK, a decade ago.

I keep writing Trump's site that he should drop "the wall" terminology. California (of all places) built a double-fence with lights, sensors, and a road in-between for BP patrols on less than a third of our border. It reduced Cali's illegal immigration by over 90%. That's why Arizona became such a big deal during the Minutemen days.

From Yuma to Tucson there is nothing but wasteland desert and the Mexican border is far from Highway 8. It would take army size logistics to get the illegals and/or drugs across that immense desert that I personally drove through on my way to join the Minutemen. Eastern Arizona has small roads that lead to staging areas. That's where the Calif barrier would be a benefit.

Texas is more problematic with all their border towns. So, just build MORE Calif barriers.

One more time! We don't need a brick and/or concrete wall along the entire border! We only need the Cali fence in strategic places. I am so sick of nobody listening to the above point.
