I have a better recipe for wanting more sleep:
Get out your Bible and locate all the scriptures regarding sleep; peaceful sleep; etc.
Write out the scriptures .. and every night before you go to bed, re-read the scriptures, and believe that God wrote them just for you .. to let you know GOD has promised you blessed sleep; peaceful sleep; etc.
I never have to struggle with going to sleep. Never.
Once I get into the Word, I’d not want to sleep. I use the Kindle on my PC so I can blow up the fonts.
My brain doesn’t shut down well, it’s part of Fibromyalgia, usual sleep is 4 out of 24 hrs if you can get that for the muscle pain and burning which can be horridly high, along with the muscle stiffness. Then you fight Fibro Fog too that effects short term memory.
