I think her blood pressure is awful low for her age and she probably needs a pacemaker. The low BP could cause the fainting spells she is having. Also, notice no EKG was done.

Well, no EKG reports were shared with us, anyway.

I have low blood pressure. Always have. For another reason my doc put me on blood pressure patches. Could not stay awake and was freezing all the time. Had an appt with a specialist for my back and the nurse came in and did vitals first. Said...wow, your blood pressure is really low. I asked if that was why I was so sleepy and cold. When she told me yes I pulled the patch off and threw them all away.

Also, thyroid meds can also cause fainting. My doc tried to start me on a very low dose - just to test it out because thyroid number was slightly low - and because I have unusual reactions to a lot of prescription drugs. The first 3 weeks, I was fine .. then he upped the dose to what is normally taken .. BOOM .. I was having a couple of fainting spells a day. Had to stop taking it.

If my thyroid ever gets worse, I don’t know what I will be able to do about it.
