Rex Harrison, my little guy, has passed at the age of 14.
An believable friendly little guy, for a Cocker Spaniel, he loved to give kisses, love and bring joy on even the worst day.
He was a funny dog who would, like a monkey, attempt to get the nits out of my hair. Never had a dog do that.
He was always patient, observant and wanted to whatever I wanted to do.
We called him Rex Harrison due to his black coat, with a streak of white in his chest and white paws...Like a tuxedo.
He was always quite the gentleman.
Pass on my friend and I will meet you in heaven one day...
Vendome, I’m so sorry your buddy is gone. It’s hard and leaves quite an empty spot for a long while. Hope you and the rest of the pack keep each other close.
Thnx.
He was a good lil soldier.
I sent this to his Mamma:

That just choked me up. Makes me think of when I was 18 and my childhood dog passed. My father was from the great generation. You know that tough and smart kind. He was also agnostic. But, seeing my sorrow, he brought the family together to give our dog a proper burial. We all stood in a circle and he started a memorial by saying something kind, then each of us followed. I wouldn’t have expected that from him. My dads soft side shined that day and it meant so much.
A dog dying will turn the toughest man into a blubbering baby....
Sorry for your loss....over the Rainbow Bridge......
Thank you.
