Is it too much to expect that the persons responsible for this breathtaking fraud be at the very least fired all the way up the chain of responsibility (assuming there is one?)
Yes.
We have been in a sea of lies and nobody expects it different. It has been shown so often that the outcome is malaise. The trust is a pinnacle and that was destroyed according to ongoing plan.
This resonates into the next administration for we have been injured and now distrust most everything. That was the way to fracture society and that was intended.
ONE ANSWER
GO TRUMP !
That’s a good issue . TRUMP has a lot of ammunitions
Probably.
It is almost impossible to fire a Federal employee even for gross negligence. In most cases (except for an outright crime) it would take months of detailed documentation, counseling, and additional supervision. In the end probably the best one could expect is a reassignment to another position of equal pay or perhaps a slightly lower step.
It isn't easy or quick. All the cards are stacked on the side of the faulty employee unless blatant criminality is involved you can prove in court. Chances are this fraud is done all the time at this application level and has been baked into the procedures and accepted so the employee would not be faulted. The most you could hope for is a "change" or tightening of the rules and go on from there.
