To: Alberta's Child

I have not read the platform he is presenting. If he is making it easier for women to stay home to care for their children, I’m all for it. If he’s going to give families tax credits for private school education, I’m all for it. If he is going to make it easier for children to attend charter school, I’m all for it. If he is going to give working mothers a tax deduction for childcare, I’m all for it.

We are taxed to death and families are the ones who have been hurt the most. There are ways to make this affordable for everyone. But, first I’d like to read what he is presenting.

That’s pretty much the platform.

You can also use the money for higher education and elder care.

It encourages saving. I’m all for that. It applies to most everyone. It can help SAHMs by lowering their mate’s tax bracket and helping them afford better schools for their kids. It’s fair and I’m all for that. Helps single moms get back into the workforce and off of welfare.

Honestly, I think he could go even farther with that.
