“Non-profit” is such a deceptive term - it implies some great sacrifice on the part of the people involved, but all it means is that share-holders can’t get in on the action. I’d like to see what Kerry’s daughter gets paid for running her non-profit - it’s not unusual for folks in that position to pull down 6-figure incomes, and sometimes substantial 6-figure incomes.

You should check out the Kennedys' "Citizen Oil". Not sure if it's a non- or not-for- profit, but they were getting their oil from Hugo Chavez for the longest time.
Anyway, the Kennedy-family member that killed himself running into a tree was making $400K running it, and then-Rep. Joe Kennedy took over the CEO position, raised his salary, and hired his wife and other family members at 6-figure salaries.
