Honestly, the Secret Service (if they didn’t already know what was wrong with her) should have rushed her to the nearest hospital on the assumption that she may have been poisoned. Instead they drove her to her daughter’s house. That tells me that they knew exactly what was wrong, that it is a chronic problem and that they have seen it happen a number of times.

Exactly !

There were a number of absolute no-no's by the SS in this episode. Violation number one is having her waiting in an insecure area, immobile for several minutes while they bring the van around. The most dangerous part of any public event is when the SS moves a VIP between secure areas. In this case the 911 ceremony should have been a secure area. Inside the van is secure. But the longer the VIP is somewhere between those two, the more dangerous it is.

Two. Not going to emergency. She had an episode where, frankly, she looked paralysed. She was propped up against that bollard, leaning backward at an odd angle. And when they tried to move her, she couldn't move her limbs and fell forward.

Putin does have a history of poisoning foreign leaders. And she has been sick for months with something that they are not able to successfully treat. She collapses and they bundle her into the van and head for Chelsea's like it was nothing more than an upset tummy.

The SS is creating security lapses in order the accommodate the PR needs of the candidate.
