Yes, I agree. Mentally, she may be dead set against dropping out. But physical realities have a way of asserting themselves. If she refuses to go to a hospital (as the NY Post reports) in order to get proper diagnosis and treatment, her condition will only get worse. And worse. Like in a downward spiral. These ailments grow and reinforce each other and deterioration becomes more and more rapid.
