i had a horrible case of lymes disease (i live two miles from the clintonista’s and the ticks are all over the place) but never had coughing fits or fainted...
I was at a hotel in New Jersey once (traveling for work) and I saw a weird bug climbing the wall. I killed it and was surprised it contained blood _ so I knew the f***ing thing had bit me.
When I got home the things came home with me - I found them in my suitcase.
So... three months later the house was infested with them f***ing little savages. They are a ROYAL PAIN to get rid of.
I finally had to empty each room, wash every single item top to bottom, outside. Then I got some CedarCide and fogged the crap out of each room. (I mean some serious fogging- you could not see inside the room through the fog when I opened the door)
That was the ONLY thing that got rid of them completely.
I loved the Cedar smell too, and now I fog my house twice a year just because I love the smell AND I mix some peppermint oil in it- mice hate that. It leaves the whole house smelling great and clears up ants, spiders, flies, etc.
I am about to do it again before the cold because they love to come inside at this time of the year.
Living in the country you must take preventative measures.
Lyme manifests itself in many different ways. Lots of MS turns out to be Lyme Disease. Get reid of the Lyme and the MS goes away for some people.
