“No switch out is possible, as early voting has started”

The president is elected by the electoral college. The early voting that you are talking about is governed by rules that can be changed.

If Hillary decides o drop out, the DNC can nominate anyone else. The only catch is that she can’t be forced out. But with her health in bad shape and sinking in the polls why stay? A graceful exit might be her best option.

No, I’ve been over and over this. Bush v. Gore changed all this with the notion that you cannot change elections once they start.

Carnahan was ELECTED dead, then replaced.

There is no precedent whatsoever for pulling a presidential candidate AFTER voting has started. The lawsuits would tie up the election for a century and the fallback position will immediately be Bush v. Gore, you can’t selectively revote.
