Obama could declare a national emergency.

What does the Constitution say about this subject?

Remember, there are other candidates on the ticket, as well. So what is the Democratic candidate kicks the bucket.

Don’t put anything past Obambi

This stuff gets old too. There are realities. #1, NEITHER the Ds nor Rs NOR (most important) the American public want any more of Obama.

He stays high in “approval” because of the unwillingness to blame the black man. That would all change in a heartbeat if he attempted to become a tyrant.

Second, he doesn’t want the job. He is fundamentally lazy and I think if he could leave now he would.

Third, there are a gazillion people who have billions of dollars tied up in a CHANGE in 2016 on both sides of the aisle. That change will occur.

The closest to what you're describing is the Suspension Clause (Article I, Section 9, Clause 2) of the Constitution. It allows for the suspension of Habeus Corpus during a rebellion or invasion. The Supreme Court ruled during the Civil War that this power belongs to Congress, not the President. I expect a Republican Congress would be very reluctant to give the Liberal Messiah the power take American citizens prisoner without due process.
