Trump would be smart to leave this one largely alone. First, he has plenty of other things to hit her on - she has plenty of scandals and failures. Second, if he comes at her in any significant way, the rats and MSM will just spin this all about his careless and callous lack of human decency.
Exactly... Trump lost 2 weeks and momentum when he let himself get distracted with that Kahn family nonsense... he needs to STAY ON MESSAGE.. Corruption, Immigration, Free Trade, Crooked... do not say anything about her health unless directly asked, and even then just say it appears she seems to be having some problems and I hope she is able to get the help she needs.... or something equally innocuous.
DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT make her health a plank of your campaign, let your attack dogs and surrogates go after her about her health.. You stay on MESSAGE! Incompetent government, ineffective leaders, bad deals, corrupt politicians, illegal immigrants, Horrible economy... etc etc.. STAY ON THE MESSAGE that has been winning you the election since day one.. Hit her on her fraud, hit her on her emails, hit her on her selling of access to pad her illegal slush fund.. but let your surrogates go after the health issue.
If you don’t and you start directly personally attacking her on her health then the topic becomes her health, not all the other things that have been winning you this race for the past year! And so while the topic of her health may not be great for her, it kills time and is far better for her to be talking about then her taking Millions of bucks for selling access to our government to foreign players etc... etc etc... STAY ON MESSAGE!
The Trump team may do well to begin opposition research on possible HRC replacements now.
Trump shouldnt say a word about this..if asked, just say “I wish her a speedy recovery” and thats it..he will be asked..REPEATEDLY about this because the media wants to change the focus, make this about “Meanie Trump bashing a sick woman” so Trump should go back to focus on the real issues, immigration, terror, economy..and if asked about Clinton, say he hopes she is OK and leave it at that
I don’t know, I thought it might be nice if had tweeted something to the affect of “Clinton fell ill today. Hope nothing serious. Best wishes to Hillary and her family for a speedy recovery.” Kept simple, is gracious and puts further spotlight on health issues.
Trump gets the high ground for a while and can focus on issues only and specifics he gives out all to easily which the media denies.
Although Trump is the Christopher Walken type that will just keep kicking and kicking and kicking.
