one of the few illnesses I’ve had in my life was walking pneumonia.
A couple of things.
First, you HAVE to have a chest xray to have it diagnosed, it is not something a doc looks at you, tells you to take a deep breath, and makes the diagnosis.
Second, it took months for me to feel back to complete normal and I was a strong healthy 35yr old when I had it.
I suspect it’s at least only part of the story, or more likely complete BS. If it is complete BS, imagine how bad the truth must be if pneumonia is the better sounding excuse.

You are probably right. I think they are playing it day to day and if so, will get caught up in this latest BS soon.
Also, re: that body double stuff. Would be funny if the one who got sick today was the “double” and that was why they treated her like a “sack of potatoes” tossing her into the van.
