Where was our pride and glory.
In what we had done of ourselves? The bible speaks of another tower with which God wasn’t pleased, long ago.
The problem wasn’t the tower itself; the problem was the attitude that had been put into it.
OMG... I have never seen this picture before. I thought I had seen them all.
God Bless
Yet He is also a loving and merciful God.
Yet we have work by “the sweat of our brow.” That includes working in towers as well as on ground buildings and to be able to do so in peace.
Either way-horrifying.
I cannot even begin to imagine what might be going through their (or anyone) minds or how long the journey to the sidewalk must have seemed to them. Was it quick or did ‘time standstill?’
Because God is that way, He even willingly risks our becoming dull to the offense of sin. Then when an example chastisement takes place, we’re all verklempt.
This is an attitude towards people who are, more or less, believers.
Anyhow, we need to get our spiritual house in order so there is less trouble and more success. Lots of people were singing “God bless America” at the time of the attacks, 15 years ago. God desires that too, but blessings don’t help people who are unwilling to embrace them. God is teaching us what “bless America” would need to look like. One way has been through showing us what “curse America” looks like, so we don’t want to embrace that any more. Barack Obama could have done far worse than he has. Now, I know I’m prognosticating, but I believe that through Donald Trump, God is showing us what “bless America” looks like.
And yet the people at Babel did so by “sweat of their brow” and God’s response was “knock it off.”
The reason was WHY they raised their tower, it was to make a name for themselves.
We didn’t see the grim details of how the others died. We know they were crushed or asphxiated or burned, but we didn’t see it. These we did see, and their deaths puts a face on the diabolical nature of the attack. I think that’s what some people want to forget, and that it can happen again, and that we know who is capable of doing it.
Anyhow, blessings can be dangerous. I can vouch for that from bitter personal experience. If I do the wrong thing with what God intended to be a blessing — it becomes a curse, instead.
“...How is that I can still be just as angry 15 years later?...”
Because you’re a human being, and you’re an American.
Because the people that allowed this to happen are still working in the government, and YOUR tax payers are paying their salaries.
Because the wife of the the President who KNEW those animals were in our country is now running for President herself.
Shall I go on?
That is why you thank God for the blessing.
Are you sure about that? It could had been slave labor.
Was working at my desk in Houston with FOX news on on the small TV I had in my office. Remember my phone ringing as I looked up and saw the first person jump. Told the caller that I was unable to talk to her beyond telling her what was on my TV screen. Will never forget 9/11 and that picture as long as I live so it doesn’t matter whether they erase all the pictures from the internet. Still have problems getting my brain to really accept what I saw with my own eyes.
+1 Riley. my sister was supposed to be working down there that day and she was late and thereby survived....its personal for a lot of us
Remember it was the Bush family at the behest of their Saudi’s masters that got the Bin Laden family out of the U.S.!

It was the Clinton Admin that knew those Saudi bastards were here to begin with, and knew who and what they were.
And it was at the behest of the Clintons that Sandy Berger was sent to STEAL documents from the National Archives related to ANY Clinton involvment in 9-11-01.
Dude, that was one of the greatest posts ever and I hope that it becomes the truth to the demon worshippers one day.
My sister’s husband had a job to do in one of the towers, her was walking toward them when the first plane hit.
Excellent-———(your site is fantastic)——thanks
