Maybe if Jeb Bush was the opponent, I could see that. No way will voters abandon Donald Trump for such foolishness.

Or, whoever would run in her place would be "doing it for her" ... "a vote for me is a vote for Clinton" sort of thing.
That by itself would no doubt pick up a measureable number of votes, not enough to make a significant difference in the outcome I think.
