Mr. Cruz stood up to Washington like no other politician in recent history. Texas will remember that. Cruz took more heat than any other politician for standing by his principal. I disagree I am in the Houston-Beaumont area and people still support Cruz. You may not like what he did at the convention, but no one has shown more courage than him. If you truly want a man to fight Washington, this man has shown he will. People in Texas are not so butt-hurt by him not endorsing Trump that they will elect another Washington establishment candidate like that RINO Cornyn, who I do not believe will win again if he runs.

You don’t get it.

Cruz is the establishment—he is not fighting them at all.

His job is to make you think he is.

I am in the Houston-Beaumont area

******************

That is Cruz’s home turf. How is the lower Rio Grande valley acting, how about NE Texas,
West Texas plains, etc. Generally once elected it’s hard to defeat that candidate but I’m not
sure that if the right opponent comes forward that Cruz will be looking for another job. I
have no idea who the right candidate may be but I suspect there is one out there that can
capitalize on Cruz’s actions todate.

By the way, Welcome to FR. It’s a good place to hang. I hope you enjoy it.
