I guess, of course it’s the owner’s decision. But my view is ‘Protest on your own time, not on mine! I’m paying you to play football not make political statements’!

I’m so sick of hearing that these professional athletes have a ‘right’ to protest on the job.

If I did that I’d be fired quickly.

Fine - you don’t want to participate in the national anthem? Stay in the locker room until it’s over. You’re not being paid to protest and you’re not owed a stage to do so. Do that on your own time, like everyone else.

You are correct. It’s why the owners are a part of this whether or not they want to be whether or not they believe it

They must either denounce it ir go on record as agreeing
