Kellyanne Conway, campaign manager for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, and Jason Miller, Trump’s Senior Communications Advisor, defended Trump’s supporters from an attack on them Friday night by Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton at an elite New York City fundraiser headlined by Barbra Streisand that raised a reported $6 million.
Clinton called Trump supporters, a “basket of deplorables”, “irredeemable” and “not America” among many slurs she hurled against half the country. Clinton also said they were so desperate for change they don’t care where help comes from.
Conway spoke out Twitter while Miller issued a formal statement through the campaign.
Meanwhile Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill doubled down on Clinton’s insults in a three part Twitter statement late Friday night

<><> She is a political opportunist who voted for the ruinous Iraq war which she did not believe. As Secy of State, she pushed for and celebrated the assassination of a Libyan dictator, creating a haven for al-Qaida and ISIS.
<><> Her reset button with Russia was a diplomatic joke.
<><>Her incompetence led to Benghazi; she lied to the families of the dead heroes.
<><> Her perjurous statements about her server and emails almost caused FBI Director James Comey to throw up in public.
<><> She speaks of leaving the White House in 2001 like the Joads left Dust Bowl Oklahoma in “The Grapes of Wrath.”
<><> But Hillary (and Bill) soon pulled down $225,000 a pop for 20-minute speeches to Goldman Sachs. It’s a long way, baby, from her Children’s Defense Fund days, the recalling of which almost caused Bill Clinton to lose it and break down sobbing at the Philly convention.

Basket of deplorables? Talk about divisive rhetoric. I thought she was above labels and insults. She’s starting to sound bitter like someone who is losing.
And, fortunately, most of them live in big cities. And, their heads are so deep in the sand - or other regions - that they aren't prepared to provide the necessities of life for themselves, even for a few days - either because they don't think the SHTF will ever happen - or - more to the point - if it does, only the 'deplorables' will be hit - as they, the Elite will be taken care of by their God/Goddess in the WH.
By the time they realize they're on their own, like when gangs bust their doors down, it will be far to late to get out of the city. And even if they did, they are clueless as to how to provide for themselves. They wouldn't even be able to grow a carrot.
That also goes for those 'preppers' who are prepping in place, while living in the city. They have their closets and under-beds stuffed with supplies and plans to get to a 'safe place' outside the city after the first few days of chaos has settled down.
New flash: All roads out will be closed withing hours. After the first few days, total bedlam will reign - and there will no '911". The only way to be 'prepared' is to already be living far from the big cities - and have established gardens, fruit orchards, berry bushes, cellar shelves full of canned goods, chicken coops, pig pens, well water, weapons - including hunting rifles - and experience in hunting and foraging and fishing. "And the meek shall inherit".
i.e., be able to easily transition from living with power to living the way our grandparents - and thousands of generations before them - lived - and lived well.

I remember the firestorms of hate from the media when Sarah Palin referred to "real Americans." But this, of course, is different.
What? Only from the coastal states? What about the Midwest and the mountain west, etc.?
