There’s a difference with being required to view something and acquiescing to the content.

Try that with a mandatory Bible study required by an employer. You don't have to believe, just be present.

The online modules have quizzes to verify you’re paying attention and learned what they want you to learn. So you can’t just doze through it and be done, hence the even greater violation of one’s rights.
