My son was really taken with Washington, DC. He had never visited there either. My son has actually missed many years of vacations going to the usual cites because he was always playing baseball up until the first day of school. He did go with a ball team to NY-Long Island one year. Won the tournament. Pitched three games in one day came home and we never found out for several years later!
