What good do you think that guards would do. You know that they won’t be armed and there are probably 30 local/state laws preventing them from doing anything except perhaps delivering a sternly-worded admonishment. If they are even touched it would be like hitting the lottery for the perps.
There is a decidedly upscale mall in Jacksonville FL where the Apple store usually has at least two uniformed (and armed) JSO officers at the door. I’ve never been by there without seeing them.
