I understand what you’re thinking, but right now there are no real honest people in the political class in either party, and as we’ve seen that includes conservatives! After Trump you’ll have Pence, a more traditional conservative in the wings, but right now nationalism TRUMPS ideology. Gotta start to fix the enormous problems this country faces now rather than later, and eight years of Hillary, Uncle Joe, or Pocohontas will put us in a hole we’ll never get out of. Even with Trump’s election he’ll be stymied by the Democrats and Republicans in Congress, but he’s the only shot we have right now!

Trump won't have much time to right the ship. Trees don't grow to the sky and economies don't grow without periodic recalibrating downturns. The next recession will be a shakeout due to today's Obama/Fed loose money - but the democrat press will blame it on Trump policies. Self-driving cars will eliminate the new Uber driver income, along with long-haul truck drivers - freight could move continuously without mandated breaks. That is a lot of good paying middle class jobs that will vanish.

But Trump is a great salesman, he'll likely be able to survive the democrat media barrage.
