I believe you are wrong. St. Theresa of Calcutta had the answer. Only one baby between the two and it is nurtured and supported by both the mother and father. In the nine months of gestation a wanton woman can have two of three abortions. The father can be the cause of multiple abortions with multiple women. A supportive, working father can use his energy constructively and considerately. So many of these people were raised in situations that they hated and yet perpetrate this same hated life style on their babies, that is if the child even is allowed to live.

That is failure.
If the child later dies, the parents have nobody. Then parents want 2 or more children just for their own survival.
Survival being our greatest instinct ALWAYS wins out, to the detriment of starving children.
What is the solution? It was not Mother Teresa.
The solution is social ownership. A caste system denies ownership, hence creates over population. Ownership of property for survival is the only force working against over population.
And that is the truth.
For all her goodness, Mother Teresa is not the solution. The solution is a Free Constitution, guaranteeing rights to property and liberty. Then a military conquest enforcing that Constitution incrementally or quickly.
Property ownership saves.
