My ferals are all a bit neurotic, but have adapted well to the house. They will allow me to touch and play with them. One of them has a very strange hair fetish-will try and chew on mine. They try to get away from my husband as he is a vet. That know they are likely to be poked for blood work, they might have a procedure of some kind, or get some medicine they hate.

Well I just managed to snag Shadow up into my arms.

I am not bleeding too badly.

But right quick she settled into my arms and let me pet her, scratch her ears....she didn’t fight to get away.

I showed her where the food was and put her into a litter pan. I wanted her to know where those items were so I don’t have to worry about it.

She seemed to like my ministrations but she still keeps distance from me, still wary.

God bless. I think she’s tired now.

You can’t make this stuff up.

And now, since you are married to a Vet....my next plan, the plan to get back my happiness and life after being slapped and abandoned by my daughter and the terrible heartbreak that has bought me.

Anyway, enough of that.

I am going to start a Blog that will feature dogs and cats up for rescue.

I really think I have a talent for that.

First, I have almost all rescue animals as by me they are the best. But there’s issues with rescues and I’ve learned a lot.

Every week I plan on going to the SPCA shelter, not far from me. I will explore the shelter, looking for good rescues, getting the low-down.

I will then publish pictures and little stories about these dogs waiting for a forever home. Yes, indeed, cats too but why was this kitten on my porch out of nowhere?

I also will publish stories of “foster” rescue parents....that sort of thing.

This is perfect for a Blog and I am, if nothing else, a social media writer.

I can write about politics and on Facebook and I can write books.

But I am a Blogger and I dearly love the animals that embrace and join us in our lives.

I think humankind owes dogs an oversight because this is a species of animals bred specifically to be a companion to humans, whether as companion or to work alongside.

Dogs do not really know how to hunt and fend for themselves. Sure, they can scrounge in trash and humans might feed them on the sly. But they are not wild animals and everyone without a forever home is a blight on our humanity.

I think I can help find forever homes for these pets and I dunno, maybe that’s why God sent me Shadow.

She is the first feral cat to come into my life.

But she’s doing fine.
