Gretchen cannot do this legally in a private setting without his permission, I THINK.
See my tagline. The workplace sure has gotten fun, hasn't it. Females FLAUNT THEIR STUFF to rise to the top, then they SUE when objectifying THEMSELVES is no longer profitable. FEMINIST VS. SEX OBJECT.. WHICH IS IT, LADIES? CAN'T BE BOTH!
Depends on the state!
Precisely. The most competitive industries do not have females at a reasonable proportion... Naturally females are in more socially cooperative industries. And gubmint sector. Both we can do without.
For phone conversations it depends on which state you are in. For many states, all parties have to agree to the recording, for some states, such as NY, one party can record without informing another party. (But it has to be someone participating in the conversation who knows of and makes the recording.)
Women often are judged harshly by their looks in the workplace—and often required to look their best in a way that men aren’t.
That doesn’t mean that they are fair targets for sexual harassment—jeesh!
New York is a one party consent state. You do not need both parties to give consent, so Gretchen did not do anything illegal.
