Sessions congratulated McPain on his primary win and, yes, McPain was Boooed big time.
How does he get re-elected time after time?
That is the $64,000 question.
He is needed as an R in the senate but I still could not even imagine myself voting for him.

yes indeed. My relatives in AZ all voted Keli Ward and her statement, upon conceding was excellent and didn’t back down, saying the battle was lost, but not the war. She’s a physican, military background and all around excellent candidate, unlike the fellow that went up against Paul Ryan here in WI. ugh.
Maybe she can take on Jeff Flake in 2018 - comeback kid.
Word has it that so many Kaleefornia peeps moved to AZ, plus lots of older “ladies” like him for being war POW, etc. He’s a snake in the grass, tossed out millions of dollars of smear ads against Keli Ward and it worked. Disgusting.... you are so right!
Yep....... I heard the booing, too. Jeff Sessions is the best guy ever though. And you note of course McPain was not in attendance at the rally.

With regard to why McCain (and other incumbents) get re-elected time after time, it's very rare for an incumbent to get "primaried out." That is because most voters (who would vote for change) are just not motivated to vote in a run-off primary election. Especially at the tail end of summer when most people are focused on vacations and the Labor Day weekend. Meanwhile, the incumbent is able to call in his chits and GOTV, assuring himself of an easy victory nearly every time.
It's a poor excuse not to do your civic duty but a harsh reality nevertheless.
