Yep - a big return.
But the illegal beat me to it, filing in December, before the tax year was even over.
It took a year to get my refund, after filing police reports, IRS forms, etc.
Now I’m on those credit watch lists for suspicious activity on all my accounts and credit card.
Worse, until it was cleared up, I was being charged with failing to report income in the nest year (the tax refund).
