Wife has a co-worker who immigrated from Columbia. She works at a hospital part time because she can speak 7 languages fluently. Cant speak or understand the native Mexicans. She said she can pick out certain words to put it all together, but she said its impossible to understand the slang.
The same is true north of our border with the French Canadians. The French from France cant understand them and actually absolutly cant stand them.
My best friend is of Belgian descent. There are some 8 or 9 different dialects of the language there-some based on French, other Luxemburg and French mixed.
I dont know how the hell they get anything done.
