Mexico is, for the most part, peopled with decent folk. It is enormously rich in natural resources. There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for Mexico to be a third-world hellhole ... but that is exactly what a communist revolution will (and did) create. Mexico is a mess because Mexico's government is even more corrupt than ours. Clean up the mess on both sides of the Rio Grande, and we can be great allies, great neighbors, and great trade partners.
It is also a beautiful country.
