Thank you NIKK. We figure the medical condition is congenital, not a big deal, but precludes strenuous physical activity. He's mentioned being light headed on other times or physical stress (soccer practice being an example), and while he is not bashful about exerting himself, I suppose he knows his limit. He like the Army, and the Army likes him, and we are speculating that a surgical repair opens that door again.
I agree with you. There are silver linings in nearly all unexpected "bad" events. Golden linings maybe.
