If Trump can make El Corrupto do the right thing for the Mexican people many will go back, few will want to come and the extended Mexican family, the jewel of the Americas, will survive. Real trading partners and win win.

Truly good negotiators will work for a ending where both parties can get something. If Trump is the negotiator we think he is, both we and Mexico can benefit.

In May 2006 I was driving along the Gulf Coast from Tampa to New Orleans to see the country and survey the recovery from Hurricane Katrina. I spent one night at a camp grounds in Alabama. There I spoke with a Mexican house painter. He had been hired by an Atlanta contractor and was getting $4 an hour (below minimum wage). I asked him what he like about the US. Here, he said, the police are honest. I then asked him if he could get work in Mexico would he rather be there working. He said yes, that is where his wife and children. are.
