A cousin of NBA basketball star Dwyane Wade was shot and killed by a pair of serial offenders in Chicago on Friday because the two thugs didn’t like it when a taxi driver dared to make eye contact with them.
A pair of brothers released from jail on parole have been charged with fatally shooting Nykea Aldridge, cousin of NBA star Dwyane Wade, in Chicago.
Darwin Sorells, 26, and 22-year-old brother Derren, who are both documented gang members, were charged with first-degree murder Sunday over the death of Aldridge, 32, a mother-of-four.
Both are repeat gun offenders, Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson confirmed, and both were out on parole at the time of the killing.
Speaking about Darwin, Johnson said he is a six-time weapon offender who was jailed in 2013 for six years for another gun crime but released on parole in February.

We live on a quiet street in a small southern town. We have been in this house for about 20 years. When we bought it the neighborhood was mostly elderly white widows. They have all died and the houses have sold to younger families, except for two house, which have become rental properties. About a month ago a young black woman moved into one of the houses. She has one child a daughter, about 5 or 6. She also has an abusive boyfriend. The police have been there 3 times and the sheriff once. Sad for the child.

I agree they are not normal or rational.
But I volunteer to work with Special Olympics competitors. They are for the most part the sweetest, kindest, most positive people in the world.
I am also forced to spend time with street thugs like the ones in the article.
There is nothing good about them. Some are stupid, Some are smart. It is not about their IQ.
I would opt for a lever action in 44 Mag. Very nimble in carbine form and relatively high capacity with good knock down power

There is a difference between Down Syndrome and mental retardation. And not all low IQ people are violent but there does seem to be a correlation.
Keep your doors locked and keep an eye on that woman, not for her interest but your own.
Out on parole. In a sane culture, parole boards and judges would be afraid of, and deterred from enabling, outcomes like this.
Lol, it all comes down to your view of the numbers. When fully a third of the males in your demographic group can’t manage to get through life without at least one cycle through the penal system, it’s not an outlier.
