Who am I to judge?

To correct you, there is nothing wrong with saying “RIP”

At the same time we are not God and I will leave it at that.

Our hesitance to ‘judge’ perpetuates falsehood. There is a deadly cliff ahead, and while some may have gone over to their doom, the ones headed that way could be warned. Instead our culture is to reinforce the notion that because the dead are now quiet (dead) they are at peace. Consequently, those still marching toward hell assume the best for themselves. We do have a duty to warn.

Forgive my taking you on personally, because my comments are really directed to the many here who have said the same thing. I am sure that fundamentally we agree.
