Agree the center of rotation is visible on the radar. That radar loop with the storm track is one of my favorites.
I don’t know where you got the radar but its really good.

Well, that’s just downright sneaky” ****
Them bastiges
Now I hate Johnson Grass even more ...
Thanks NautiNurse ((((Hugs))))
We could use the rain in NC.
Check that. We need the rain .
I have no love for them. They have screwed up water quality all over South Fla. but it is good radar.
Upper low pressure east of Florida causing shear on it right now preventing organization and development.
I get all warm and fuzzy that their eye-popping and tax payer busting budget affords huge multi-color advertising in baseball souvenir programs. Go figure.
Storms don’t mean a thing until the Nauti sends a ping!
NHC is thoroughly unimpressed with the GOM system this morning.
Eyes wide open.
New Orleans’ “Gay Mardigras” (Southern Decadence) is this coming weekend (Wednesday, August 31 - Monday, September 5).
Was cancelled in 2005 due to Katrina.
Was cancelled (at least main events) in 2008 due to Gustav.
The turnout was reduced in 2011 because Tropical Storm Lee scared off many from outside of New Orleans traveling in for the weekend resulting in about 20% hotel cancellations.
In 2012 Hurricane Isaac hit the event again.
Haven’t really paid attention since then.
New Orleans is due for another one. Of course, N.O. does not have a monopoly on wickedness, but this event represents the city collectively shaking their fists at God and saying we dare You to do anything about it. (The city officially sponsors the event.)
There are many places where people respond to the threat of natural disasters with prayer. There, the response is blasphemy.

Happy to have you back. I moved to target rich Florida waiting on my first hurricane. LOL I will let you know how it goes after the first one!
Thanks for the ping and keep us informed! Looks to be a rainy Thursday on the upper Gulf Coast.
Does anyone know if Joe Bastardi’s saturday summary has gone Premium? Tried to find it yesterday and got a different weatherbell homepage than usual.

Keep in mind that if you evacuate for a storm that it takes time
and traffic will be slow.
should have been “keeping” us informed.
Can’t help you. I don’t follow Bastardi.
