Speaks volumes that neither the 49ers nor the NFL have spoken out against this action.

He’d be in big trouble, though, if he refused to wear a pink ribbon or didn’t stand up for the rainbow flag.

Cr@p like this is a primary reason I no longer follow professional sports.

Awaiting the inevitable Trump tweet, and the uproar that is sure to follow.

I respect the newly converted goat humpers freedom of speech. Hope he respects mine. Piss be upon him.

The 49’s defended him saying they respect an “individual’s” right to... We all know what would have happened if he had criticized BLM for what it is, look at all the people who have lost their jobs for criticizing it on Facebook.

How can they?

If they did, they would stir up many more like him, and threaten their multi-billion $$ business.

Not only that. Imagine the players at Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, etc, etc rising up in solidarity. Another multi-million $$ enterprise in the trash can.

They're much better off staying silent and hoping for the best.

The NFL has slowly dissolved like the rest of America in the acid of political correctness. Can you imagine what would have happened to one of Vince Lombardi's players had they refused to stand for the National Anthem?

The NFL is tossing it off as his “freedom of religion and freedom of expression, we recognize the right of an individual to choose and participate, or not, in our celebration of the national anthem”. The only thing that will cause them to take any action is if fans stop adding to their profit line.
