I've been outside for a couple of hours reading. I'm designing my deck that has to be replaced in several places as it's over 30 years old. I am trying to design and select the materials before the man comes.
I'll throw it out to him and see if he's able to go with most of my thoughts or hopefully he'll have some good one's to add. I'm enclosing half of my deck to be cat safe when they are outside. My cats never go out. I've seen several cat porches and enclosures and I want to also use the space when reading and my guys and gal are out there too.
I think I'll use a clear polycarbonate roofing panels for the roof. Welded chicken wire in the open areas. Solid panels close to the house for privacy and to shield from the rain.
I hope I haven't bored you. I get like this when I have something on my mind and planning. Describing helps me eliminate the areas in my mind that need to be arranged better.
