How do we know there are only 11 million illegals? I keep hearing this number and I thought just a few years ago it was closer to 20 million.
Ann Coulter was interviewed by Tucker Carlson, last night, on C-SPAN book, for her latest book (In Trump We Trust). She also has a recent book, on immigration, called “Adios, America: The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole”.
They discussed the number of illegals, in the country. Ann said this 11 million number has been bandied about, since the first Pres Bush days. It’s supposedly an (old and faulty) census model.
And, that studies (from respected groups) have shown that the number actually grows by millions, over so many years, yet they NEVER adjust the number of illegals, accordingly. She said we could be closer to 30 million, in reality.
Probably 50.
No one knows and there have been some dramatic fluctuations.....some self-deportation after the 2008 crash when the economy tanked and there was little money to be made here. That self-deport number and then returns makes it impossible to know.
I travel to several metro areas annually (mostly in the south) and suspect the number of illegal immigrants is VASTLY underestimated.
